How to Install Fonts in Procreate

Fonts from the BRUSH app

  1. Choose the font from the BRUSH app library to import into Procreate. 
  2. Tap on the Download button and wait while the font file is downloaded. 
  3. Tap on the Install to Procreate button.
  4. A popup window will appear asking where to open the file. Select Procreate from the list.

Your font file will immediately appear in the Font section of the Edit Text interface, ready for use.

Files App

  1. Choose the font from the BRUSH app library to import into Procreate. 
  2. Tap on the Download button and wait while the font file is downloaded. 
  3. Tap on the Install to Procreate button.
  4. A popup window will appear asking where to open the file. Select Save to Files from the list and save it in folder you want to store it.
  5. Open the iOS Files app. Navigate to your fonts folder (or whatever you store them), then tap and hold your chosen font.
  6. With another finger, tap On *My iPad > Procreate > Fonts*. This is where Procreate stores all imported fonts. 
  7. Drop your font into this folder to install it.

Drag and Drop

  1. Choose the font from the BRUSH app library to import into Procreate. 
  2. Tap on the Download button and wait while the font file is downloaded. 
  3. Tap on the Install to Procreate button
  4. A popup window will appear asking where to open the file. Select Save to Files from the list and save it in folder you want.
  5. Open the iOS Files app in Split View. 
  6. Navigate to your fonts folder, and Drag and Drop your chosen font from Files into Procreate. It will appear in the Fonts list.

Edit Text Interface

Tap Actions > Add > Add Text. Once you’ve edited your text to your liking, tap Edit Style > Import Font.

You can now browse through the Files app to the folder where you saved your font. Tap it to import it, and it will appear in the Fonts list in Procreate.
